That's the positive part of communism for times like these, they're really, really good at the whole martial law thing, and spreading propaganda and disinformation. But don't worry, communism is coming soon to a town near you! New York is becoming just like the old-country was. See the new idling law? You are now rewarded by the government (monetarily) by ratting out your fellow neighbor and citizen.

The world is becoming more sophisticated, but not more intelligent. We’re repeating the same patterns we’ve repeated for thousands of years, technology and misdirection is just obscuring it from from view. This is what the “men you’ve never heard of” are counting and rely on.
