I have precisely zero issue with it. There are just some things that you have to do living in a society with others. Taking a simple step to avoid the transmission of a deadly illness is one of those things. If you don't want to do that, there are going to be restrictions on what you can and cannot do to ensure the wellbeing of everyone.
I guess im an asshole but I like it.....I remember in 1997 when I decided I wanted to go to college....walked in and they asked me for my proof that I got my MMR vaccine...I had never heard of it and didnt have any evidence that I got it...They told me to get it, or no school for me. Meantime, the covid vaccine isnt required to work at my wifes hospital.my wife just sent me this.

To me...cigarette smoking rules apply....any space you cant smoke, you need the vaccine.

you wont hear any arguments from me, the ones who wont get it are the same ones complaining about the spikes and restrictions that are being put in place.

The people that can,should. Then the restrictions can be lifted.
Usually there are carve outs for these. We'll have to see how it actually gets implemented. I have my opinions about one of those "exemptions", but I'll avoid going down that usually-inflammatory rabbit hole here 😀

I'm not anti-vax, just playing DA. My wife is a school nurse and she's seen plenty of "religious" exemptions even well before Covid.
At school enrollment... therefore, pretty much everyone has to get them, therefore, the population is covered, which covers those that actually can't, along with the silly religious excuses.
We just finished our immunization record for college.
It is expected. No doubt we are working towards that end with this vax.
The antivax argument is the lack of long term study. Which is why it is an emergency use auth as I understand.
I get Tim's point, that is why the requirement probably has an expiration date, or a review date.

There are still mask vaccine/mandates in FL at a local/business level. Mask mandates vs none during the last wave didn't make much difference.

When only 50% get a flu shot every year, this is never going to happen.
Isn't that because local officials are ignoring the Governor's executive order? Isn't this the source of the lawsuit with the one cruise company? Seems fair to say that FL's approach has been to ban any requirement.
