Pretty much what the dissenting opinion was in last month's Presidential Immunity Supreme Court case.I mean, if we create conditions that allow candidates to be eliminated (an extreme example), we're no better than Venezuela, North Korea, or any of what used to be the former Eastern Block. This is one of the reason why people come to this country.
I don't know, do you spend your days worried because you're in imminent danger? Are you a target, is someone trying to kill you (other than your significant other)? Who exactly do you need protection from that you feel like you're left to fend for yourself?
They are already protected by the Secret Service. This is just throwing money at the issue because somebody made a mistake and didn't secure an area in plain sight of Trump. Oops. America has proven there really is no way to protect people from one crazy person with a gun. No sense in rehashing the gun debate here. We both know both sides and until the laws are changed shootings will just be a part of life.
