Things that make you frown :(

Can anyone guess the cause of this mess?

Getting the lawn 3/4 mowed, the mower dies and forced to finish off the lawn with the weedwacker. Hopefully the shop can get her running before i need to mow again. ?

I’ve been running my tire psi a little firm lately To protect my rims because I’ve mostly been riding rocks. My tires have gotten pretty worn so yesterday I decided to lower psi ever so slightly for more grip... All good for 11 miles of techy north Mahlon goodness then I huck a little bump jump on the fire road half mile from my car and dent my rim, instant flat.

get back home, hammer the dent out a little bit, then wrestle with a downhill casing I had laying around (installing DH case minions fucking sucks). After a lot of sweat and cursing it’s on, I hit it with some air... the dent seals fine but there’s a hole in the tire ?‍♂️. I hate bikes.

Having a perfectly functioning car get totaled in my work parking lot from a hit and run. No security footage either. The 10 minutes in which it happened were magically not recorded.

look at the wheel angle. The knuckle is snapped. I have camber like a riced out honda... And when the car is barely worth 2k because no one wants a yellow manual base model cobalt. Parts alone are 860 bucks and book labor is 6 hours. I have no word if my insurance will cover it yet. I just replaced that wheel bearing too.

Removed both tires yesterday to clean and add new sealant. Got the job down in record time only to find that I mounted the front tire in the wrong rotational direction.
That is exactly why I have started to follow the silly practice of aligning the tire logo with the tire specs with the valve, it's always on the non drive side (at least on Maxxis, on other brands who cares).

If your handy buy it back my swapped Impreza was worth 800 when totalled by a plow I bought it back for free

Police are involved. Thankfully I know a detective in the town it happened. I plan to buy it back and fix it for sure. I've done tons of suspension work on my vehicles so this is easy. sounds like the company i work for is going to pay the deductible for me. So that made me smile a bit anyway. And no camber before the accident. I like to actually handle the corners I throw it into. Haha
