Things that make you frown :(

Our town started doing some storm water drain survey in the neighborhood and this is how they marked every drain:

You tell me there isn't some robust outdoor RFID tag or something? At least use a basic stencil for crying out loud. 🤬

Every storm drain in our neighborhood looks the same. Welcome to Rairtan Township. Maybe our new Storm Water Utility tax Is paying for this stupidity. Ours was the third town in the state to impose the separate tax for this. Definitely qualifies as a frown.
 
Ok, I guess I'm glad I don't have underground storm water management where I am? I get that you are getting taxed, but are guys really going to bust out 1000 stencil combos to avoid the handwriting police? Lol

(I must say, the fish stencils I have seen near catch basins recently so look nice though)

Yeah the fish ones are pretty Sweet!
 
Not stencils, but we had plastic fish stickers on all the storm drains way back. They all got peeled off, I assume by kids in the neighborhood.

There has to be some kind of stencil frame with inserts that could be changed, right?

$2,300 because I'm in city limits and pay city $$ taxes also. We don't get storm drains or safe school buildings but we also don't have cops writing us tickets so it's a tradeoff.

Wait until they realize they had duplicate IDs and they need to go back and renumber some.
