Things that make you frown :(

Yesterday morning, a couple hours in the woods, mostly clearing trees. Shower, work for a bit and go to dentist for some fillings at 10. The dentist is finishing up and I can tell she is trying to shoo away something next to my head, but doesn't say anything. Couple min later I feel something crawling on my neck and grab it and hold it between my fingers. I look when the hygienist goes out of the room and it was a tick. She comes back in and says "there was a spider crawling by your head but I couldnt get it". I just shrugged and said IDK and held it between my fingers until I got outside. Lol.
 
Haven't received any mail in about a week. When we reached out to the Metuchen PO we found out that the two Metuchen PO's are no longer handling Metuchen's mail. It will now be delivered by Edison. Called Edison looking for the mail and of course they said it's probably at Metuchen. At least a half dozen calls later and someone at Metuchen finally found the mail and said it can be picked up. My wife just came back from the PO and of course the person she spoke to isn't in and no one has any idea where she might have put the mail....

This begs the question, whose mail is the Metuchen post office going to be delivering now?

I'm guessing the two post offices will be closed at some point. We were told our mail will now come out of the Kilmer PO, so only 5 miles away. Makes total sense.

Window update for the CR-V. Mechanic fixed it last week. Dropped off on Wed, called Thurs and it was done. New motor installed, $480. I installed the new switch the week before. Mechanic had replaced the regulator in '22. Good to go for awhile hopefully.
 
New rear tires on the Suburban a few weeks ago. I just got around to bringing it back to get the the new high speed vibration taken care of. I figured one of the weights fell off since I saw a very clean spot on the rim where it looked like the weights were. Manager tells me I can wait as it can go right on the lift. Comes back 30 minutes later to tell me that the mechanic drove the vehicle and agrees there is a high speed vibration. Duh. Says I now need to leave it since they have another car they need to finish first. Get the call 3 hours later that the wheel is balanced and ready to go.

When handing me the keys they point to the QR code on the counter and say "make sure you leave us a Google review." Do they really want that?
