The REAL BIYF

So 1 hour minimum on MTB and 2 on roads for a "ride" to count?
Ride everyday required or is that just strongly suggested?
While I understand the desire to ride in the woods, it is hard in the winter as the weather along with freeze/thaw makes riding Trail not possible at all times without causing issue/damage to the trails. Therefore I do not see how we get past allowing road riding.

Riding everyday would be pretty serious, especially after three months. That is up to the rider.

Why the difference? Riding is riding. Woods, road, paths, etc. All that is important is that it is outside and not on a trainer or e-bike.

Sorry guys, I saw this previously and thought it was a rule. My mistake.
New rule change this year, pavement/road rides count for half the time.....

That used to be the policy - 60 minutes moving time per day (could be more than one ride) for the ride to count. Did we cowtow to peer pressure last year and relax this? I don't remember.

Anywho, the Chairman says: "Sixty minutes riding time or NO POINTS BRUTHA!"

Yeah, we got soft and went to 45, but I agree. One hour moving time or move by the end of the day. Can be combined rides.

Thank you for confirming Mr. Chairman.

FWIW. We went soft by allowing the 60 min to be total moving time per day.
Doesn’t really matter, everyone will do the inside ones anyways. I mean shit, that one you got more points for walking for 15 min than an hour of riding.

I agree with this. What is the point of a ride less than 1 hr? Tho the commuters don't like this rule

I am not following you here.... you are suggesting more than an hour for the minimum?

I don’t remember ever allowing walking?

This rule is how I crushed the first year. I think combined for the day is more fair for all involved because once I start adding time to each ride to make it count, I would end up with 3.5 - 4 hours every day vs 2 and change. I'm down either way.
