Sand and reapply polyurethane.I’m getting bored stuck at home. Any thoughts on how to refinish at least the top of this Big Green Egg stand? View attachment 267621View attachment 267622 It’s covered most of the time. This is about 12 years of neglect.

He's retired.A power planer will be faster than sanding. Hit it with 220 before coating with polyurethane.
He's retired.
Changed the outlet today, still no good, before that the switch. Don't see anything else hooked to this line. Gotta be the breaker right? Nothing smells fried in the breaker box and they are not labeled. Time to play the process of elimination game and check every breakerWhat's next? Lights weren't working in a bedroom so it's probably a bad switch. New switch installed, but still no good. When installing the switch, noticed that it the previous owner tapped to an outlet as the room was probably not wired for ceiling lights. So I'm guessing it's a bad outlet and not breaker? This is the guy who did this when installing the lights, so little confidence on quality of work ... That's not spackle, it's vinyl caulking

Start with everything off. Check power at the breaker on and off. Figure out where hot leg comes in ceiling, outlet, etc, at test from there once breaker is back on.Changed the outlet today, still no good, before that the switch.
