I looked into this for 1 minute and it seems they have written smart contracts for photographers using Ethereum. This is actually a fantastic idea for this. You can script Ethereum to track each instance of a photo being used online and bill the customer and pay the photographer accordingly. Per 10,000 hits, per use, whatever. Smart contracts are the reason I bought into Ether, you can do this all native and not rely on anyone else (anyone else being kodak, ha). But they are also experimenting with their own coin.
If kodak wants a little cut to do the coding for the smart contracts that's cool, not like I can do it.
 
Also, my VPN provider TorGuard has lightning network running on mainnet. so happy to be their customer. I believe that they are the first to implement lightning. I wish I owed them money so I could use it 😉
Actually I'd have to transfer my btc to a lightning supported wallet first, which would nil the benefits of lightning savings. Hopefully Ledger will support lightning soon.

Probably not. Bitcoin has the advantage of being the first, the most recognisable, and having the most and highest quality developers. But that doesn't mean that there isn't a VHS ready to kill Betamax somewhere out there.
 
Trading these has been a calculated gamble. Without being able to see volume, very vague charts, and extreme volatility, the risk is high. It is possible to ride the wave back and forth but tough to maximize any runs. I like trading this however, the moves they make on news alone are exhilarating.

I bought one on the fake news of Korea banning Bitcoin exchanges.
There are rumors of another bull run coming. I'll trade Bitcoin but I'm holding Ethereum.
 
this why I can't get into this, I'm a terribly sore loser and a profile like this would make me lose sleep

Oh I’m not saying it’s a failed technology at all, just surprised it’s dipped lower than when i bought in since it was so hot.

The last 2 months have been crazy. There was no way that was sustainable. I got about half out at the time. It'll probably settle around $8k for a while and maybe we'll cool off for a few months.
But I'm not in this for the investment, I'm in it to see the world burn.
