The Cryptocurrency and blockchain thread

I took this as a buying opportunity. My thesis was, and still is, to hold until it loses all value or goes to the moon. Good opportunity to buy a basket of different coins for a little diversity too.

yeah, I know. I was trying to get in the the completely insane swings last night but missed by FOUR DOLLARS. then I forgot to cancel my limit order. I'll get out today.
 
So is there an easy way to make a purchase without Coinbase? Apparently they are to busy to do account verifications. Been trying for a week or so.

Got out of that buy from last night. Solid ride. Not perfect but super solid.

Overall that was a really nice flush. A more honest valuation is present. I feel bad for all the newbs that just got burnt though.

Previously all these 30% dips were followed by a tremendous ride. Big action during the holidays seems unlikely though. I would think it would slide into the new year.

Lots of holders looking to push off tax payments a year can get out on the first too.
 
i had a thought last night about the used of blockchain tech for personal interaction.
Would everyone have there own root or node(s) - how would this work? How does it interact with private keys?

I believe there is an ether based Yelp type use being developed. Each person would just be a public key if it were Bitcoin, with ether I believe you can create variables in the program. Maybe.
 
Ether about to break $1k, I really hope it takes off in USE because it's such a good technology.
I hope ripple dies in a fire.
