Wawayanda Sun 12/6. 7:55am from Barry lakes gate or 8am from boathouse area. Gonna refresh my memory and inventory the new trails before the snow flies. Maybe 20ish mileagewise. Due to temp and terrain please be prepared for serious biznats:popcorn:

Darn you Ryan if panhead goes SS then I guess I'll have to, Panhead?
 
I don't know yet. Does Brett have a SS? Last time I rode gears I ripped the derailer off, before that I snapped the chain. Third time should be a charm, probably throw it in the woods if something goes wrong.

Doesn't matter either way, have to put brake pads on the gearie, or add a tooth on the SS. I guess the true deciding factor is if I want a fork or not, but even with a fork I still lock it out.

I am leaning towards gears, The last time I rode it for any distance had to be early last year. I'll be home before dark tomorrow, take it on a little test ride. My head goes completly batshit crazy when I mech. I'm tossing around the idea of selling my Marin, only use that for TM any more. Pugs caught my eye.

you need a bike mechanic, or a girlfriend who can spin a wrench...by the way i'm not neither
 
Every damn time I think I'm gonna ride the geared bike I don't. I put this bike together in June and have less then 15 rides on it. May have to start rethinking this over the winter...SS Fatbike would be nice....
