if that is trex, and the span is more than 12" or cantilever more than 3" - gunna be a surprise in a few years.

It loops off of Red and goes up towards Rt46 and back. Don't think it's on TF just yet.
There's a red trail?
Is that the trail to the elementary school? That's the only one i don't really ride but "up by 46" should be enough for me to go find it. Just checked and it's not on TF (and neither is a red trail).

I guess that's the Ferromonte Trail (Green) on Trailforks. Is the new trail east or west of the power line cut? Or does it cross?

No problem.
Parked in the NY side of the Tappan Zee parking, took the old Croton Aqueduct trail to the Croton reservoir, roads over to the North County Trail south to the Tarrytown trail spur back to car. Tons of gravel and singletrack and only a few miles of roads.
