at some point they should fix this - the road was created by excavating material from the left side (check the "stream" over there)

Last year they did do just that, they brought in dirt/gravel and filled in some of the holes. Then they stopped before finishing.
Never to resume the repair again.
Rained a bit sooner than was forecasted.
