Seriously impressed they got that tree cleared. This image doesn't entirely convey how big that sucker is.
I don't know if this is edible, but it is definitely the largest ground 'shroom I've ever seen (I have seen larger ones on the sides of trees). About 12" diameter:
(bike next to it for size comparison).
