One disturbing trend that we have seen in the last half dozen administrations is ever increasing executive overreach. It has unsurprisingly been off the charts in the last three weeks but until we have a big congressional majority of the opposite party from the sitting president I don’t see any moves to reel it in. Certainly will be an interesting few years perhaps to be followed by another manic fours years reversing everything.
I don’t care which party does it but I’ll be happier with a centrist candidate that freezes out the far-right and far-left. Both of whom are making normal people complicit in their wacked out agendas.

I concur with you 100% - the over reach and extremes are insane. In retrospect, that’s some of my point here. I do not want it to continue on either side.
There seems to be a population on this site that will beat the turd out of the Trump fans - if the Trump fans get traction they are silenced. Then we are told they are silenced in “unity” or they are participating in “hate speech”. Seems to be a re-occurring theme in this country. Well, look at the election results.
If you want to tell me Trump is extreme and out of control - acknowledge some of the short comings of the previous administration. They were not angels by any means.

The recidivist leader in the clubhouse is Matthew Huttle who was pardoned for J6 and shot to death six days later by an Indiana Deputy Sheriff while resisting arrest.
Matt was an interesting guy. After his November 2022 J6 arrest, he was arrested FOUR more times. One might think he would know the drill.
He was previously convicted of physical abuse of his 3 year old son, who couldn't sit down in preschool for weeks due to the pain. Great patriot.

Are you ready to address the short comings of Federal Authorities that day? Are you also willing to address unrest across the country associated with George Floyd as well as unrest in Portland Oregon? What about the handful of social groups that took over State legislature without repercussion during the previous administration?
People died during those events as well - yet they are ignored.

We also do not talk about the multiple sit ins and take overs of government offices during the Biden administration.
