Zero chance poopie pants attacks Iran. Putin doesn’t want that to happen. Just more noise to distract from all his other failures…. That and July is when the effect of the trade war hits. When the cheating golf pro hit China with the 150% tariffs, the ships stopped leaving China for the US. For almost 2 months shipments were pretty much stopped and then TACO happened , the shipping started back up. Well last week was the last of the pre tariff ships hit port Newark. Now here comes 2 months companies burning through inventory waiting for the shipping from the restart after TACO. People forget that those huge container ships are not speed boats, 10-15mph is what they average. Imagine jumping in your car and driving to LA with the speed limited to 10 mph, how long would it take? Now look at the cruising distance from China to San Diego or the distance from China to port Newark. This is why the effects of the tariffs will hit in July.
 
If Iran was actually making nuclear weapons, then is this the worst thing? It was a facility built under a mountain. This is some Dr evil shit. I doubt they were making a power plant down there.

If, is the big question. For years Israel has said Iran was close to having a bomb yet our intelligence said otherwise. Nothing has really changed according to our intelligence agencies but trump believes what he want to believe regardless of any facts. Personally I think trump felt butthurt when his tariffs didn't put the fear into the rest of the world that he had hoped so this will show everyone how powerful he is.

If they were in the process of making a nuke, then this was the right call. However, our President effectively listened to Israel and based the attack off of their intel/hunches. I believe that US intel still showed that Iran was not in the process of making a nuke/highly enriched uranium.

Good news: zero casualties. That is the best possible outcome from the US strikes.
Bad news: who knows what damage was actually done. Everything was underground and we certainly aren’t going to hear the truth from Iran.

Now if this is true, we need to have Isreal go to the table and if not hold the money, I think that's around $12 billion a year. At the same time get Iran at a different table that they will not build Nukes and if they want to develop Nuclear Energy, we will supply them the fuel. Then get the IAEA to have inspection if this works we can lift some of the restrictions on them.
 
There will be retaliation. Initially against our interests abroad, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are smaller attacks on US soil coming. Nobody can trust or believe a single thing the Orange Ahole or his brainwashed appointees say and he’s not following any process other than whatever pops into his addled egomaniacal head. He fucked up when he canceled Obamas deal with Iran (just because it was Obamas deal) and now here we are. I mean I have seen clips of Margerie Taylor Greene screaming about no foreign wars and it doesnt get more MAGA than her. I think it’s time to leave, I definitely don’t feel comfortable in New York City.

And now reading that some Iranians claim that the stockpiles of uranium were transported to a different site a couple days ago. Who knows anymore.

Highly unlikely. Between us and the Israelis I don't think that would have been missed. Not like you could transport it all in the back of a pickup.
 
Just happened to watch the original Red Dawn movie yesterday and was so upsetting in so many ways, given the current state of the world. Then we bombed Iran. Life imitating art. Scary.

Could’ve been a bluff, but the satellite image of 20ish dump trucks and bulldozers leaving the bunker to a site further away have been circulating. Hard to miss for intel agencies, but you never know.

Yea, I wasn’t thinking twisted enough. How does the US bombing affect Iran and Russia’s relations? Is Iran going to be closer or farther from Russian interests? This bombing will push Iran to Russia just like Russia wants. Russia does not want regime change in Iran and having people bomb your country tends to drive the people to follow leadership.
