Super D at Glen Park

The Pocono Bike Club is hosting a race on Sunday, October 20th at Glen Park (Stroudsburg, PA)!!! This will be the first ever officially sanctioned race in Glen Park. Let's take this opportunity to show support for our local parks and our new bike club. All proceeds will directly help the club and our local parks.

Will a full on DH bike be overkill? Meaning is there a lot of ups that need to be pedal.
 
Yes, you wont need a full on DH bike. There will be some slight uphill pedaling sections and some XC sections. A freeride bike or XC bike will work well.
 
The Pocono Bike Club needs the MTBNJ community's help. We are a new "IMBA" inspired club that was created to build and maintain trails in the Pocono area. The Poconos are known for its outdoor destinations but there are really only a few current options for mt bikers. We want to change that! The Poconos is a short drive from NJ and could eventually offer some great new trail networks for you all to ride!
Come race and meet some riders from the other side of the river. Group rides will form after the race to give a tour of Glen Park. The Glen is a unique park that was quite famous in the early years of free ride. There are many remains of this golden era spread across the mountainside. Please use this thread to ask any questions about the event.

Pre Ride today at 12:30 at the ball field parking lot. Directions on bikereg page. Course is cleared of leaves and ready to flow!
