Skipping this year. It's for sure a fun muddy race every year. Not very technical, so a great choice to try your first enduro.

You can camp an hour away with @mattybfat on the way and way home at Lackawanna Park.

At some point I'll try one on for size. Kinda need to get used to new bike and still lots of suspension tinkering.

Almost all of them. Bike park enduros like Blue Mt. don't have Ebike classes.

Southern Tier could be a good first enduro for someone interested in the format but it's still technical. There are a lot of tricky sections including off camber roots and rock gardens. It seems to always be wet there too so the off camber roots are extremely challenging at race pace. There is camping the night before the race at Jones Park. Costs $15.

Totally doable on an xc bike. The doubles all have ridearounds. They put a lot of work into these trails.

ah, OK. I was actually hoping it went the other way. I'm pretty decent at plowing through stuff and drops, jumps. Thought a rougher course 'might' have given me a little bit of an advantage. No matter. I'll give it my best. It'll still be fun.
