Snake Bite, be careful out there

i'm not blaming the victim... but, quite honestly, the LAST thing i'd ever do is try to handle a snake on a path.

but... this brings up a good question for those with emergency medical training: What do you do if you've been bitten?

We have 2. Copperhead and Timber Rattlesnake. Have stumbled across both over the years. 😇
I haven't seen a copperhead, but I've come across a few timber rattlers over the years. Mainly on Broad Mtn at Jim Thorpe. Two we saw were pretty big - over 6' long and easily 4"+ diameter. They generally want nothing to do with humans unless provoked... Definitely makes you think twice when going off into the woods to relieve yourself...
