Smoke from Canada!!

I don't see why people are making such a big deal out of this. Air quality, blah, blah, blah. If you ever sat around a campfire or backyard fire pit, well, this is the same thing.

Yeah, at the same time I don't usually sit around a campfire or backyard fire pit for 24 hours continuously over multiple days, set one up in my house, or exercise directly next to one. Not suggesting that we're all going to die as a result, but I was outside for only like an hour yesterday and definitely felt like I'd inhaled more smoke than I would if I'd just set up a fire pit in the yard.

Well, I'm going to roll the dice and go outside for a ride, in the deadly and noxious pine tree smoke.

Just got a school district alert they are doing early dismissal for K-8 in my town due to ongoing air quality issues.

I guess the HS kids (mine included) can breathe smoke just fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My HS has finals this week, so the kids were already dismissed. We have no windows (yes it's true) - so I didn't see what it was like outside until I went to check bc it smelled like smoke in my room...holy jeepers! The district cancelled all outdoor activities for the next two days.

Update... faculty just dismissed.
