Short Track Reg is Open

how much up*down? mostly how much up? Fat old guy on a SS asking..
Elevation gain per lap(1.4 miles) is 161 ft. There is elevation but nothing too steep, the course is designed for flow.
However I will say that at race pace any elevation hurts.

good thing I don't have a race pace then 🙁
Signed up for beginner.
Edit: signed up my son too
Goal: do not get lapped by the whole field of beginners and kids.

I'm starting to have serious FOMO. This sounds like more fun than a 30 pack of Keystone Light in college (same price too). Homework for all: keep hassling me to get a MTB and force me to ride this next year.
Question:
You hang out on a forum called "MTB"NJ but don't own a MTB???
Please step up and enter 2017 with a MTB immediately 🙂

Size?
First one listed in the Silk Road that fits you, you buy.

Consider yourself hassled.....

Dickerson Mine for an hour and a half because I'm tired and lazy, then go home and drink beer and nap (naps are great). Well, maybe not now that I've actually been trying a structured training plan to make more than zero-plus-a-couple watts. I wasn't sure, so I asked.

I deserve to get flamed for that question. Sport it is. Reg'd.

Sport is the correct class then. All good.

Sorry, I leaked out of the cyclocross realm. I explained my background and situation a bit on my blog. A MTB is coming eventually but real life is getting in the way. This spring is stupid busy for me and I have conflicts every weekend. I put real life on hold for CX season this year and it's catching up to me now.

@MadisonDan my road bikes are in the 50-52 cm range and I'm 5'8" so however that translates to MTB sizes. Not looking to pull the trigger until after we find a new apartment and I figure out what the storage situation is. I'll post a WTB thread once I really get serious about it.
