SCCX Races

Loved the course, thought it called for a complete rider, though I could have done without the mud pit as well.

I particularly liked the triple barrier run-up, though I managed to drop my chain on it during the last lap.😱

Thanks to all the Bulldoggers for putting on the race!

We put it a bit of time and effort to make sure the turns, berms and chicanes all had 10ft width so it would be challenging, maintain flow, but reward bike-handling (and no one would die!). Glad you liked it.
 
i will take mud over sand 100 out of 100 times.

any word on when the results may be up? not b!tching, just wondering. i know we all have other jobs and stuff.

Joe Mundi commented on Bookface that he saw the results. I asked where but he didn't reply yet. I should have taken a pic of mine but my feet were too cold still.
 
I am looking forward to racing this again next weekend, it will actually be my first double header at a venue. ( I have yet to catch both races at a single place).
 
Best Course Yet!

This course was just perfect - someone really knew how to make good radius corners that kept you honest but didn't kill any flow if you knew what you were doing on a bike. My fastest avg speed out of any of the races this year even with the mud hole which made gears useless in one lap. 😀

I thought it suited me well and was probably my best race performance all year. All except for the few long open sections - I need to work on those for next year. Really looking forward to this weekend to do it all over again and break my captain 4th place status. :getsome:

Oh yes, thanks for the video, cheering and status updates Norm. It was helpful to know what was going on even if I couldn't hold onto the podium spots.

45 race

Did it seem 1 lap short? Coming to line fully expected to hit another lap but was waved off. Will results be posted somewhere with our actual times? Again, course was a blast. Hope to make this weekend also.
