Same for the signs that were put up in Rancocas State Park when unauthorized trail building was occurring.

Unapproved Trails at Rancocas

Forestry staff have noticed the blazed unapproved trails that were made this year at Rancocas State Park. Staff asks that the trail blazing stop and that the person(s) involved instead work with Forestry staff to improve the trails. Pass it on as needed. Thanks.

Not sure how the person responsible was handled, but I know there have been many trail days closing down said unauthorized trails and all blazes have been removed. New state approved trail markers and blazes are now present and scheduled trail work by park management and volunteers continues.

Signs went up in Ringwood last week ( different than the one pictured) as the first official warning, if they persist there is a plan.

Was at Ringwood today… no issue with obstruction to the trails, all clear!

Unfortunately today there were a couple of piles of branches on Skylands that have been since removed by local riders…the saga continues…

The leaner on Crossover below Shepherds lake rd has come down and brought a bunch of other trees with it. Art is away, so it might be a few days before the trail is cleared. Location is near where crossover crosses Cooper Union. The spot can be avoided if you use Cooper Union instead of State line.

It is on the "o" of connector just above your circle. Art comes back Wed night and we may go out on Thursday to try and clear it up. If you get to it before, let us know.

There is a big rotted out tree down on the new red reroute, it’s just before the merge into the old trail about 3/4 of the way up.

Cleared. Just in time for a f@@king dirt bike to ride past me on the single track I just cleared. Asked him if he knew he’s not allowed in the park, reacted revving the bike and riding just by my side. Particularly genius move considering the angry guy holding a running chainsaw in his hands…this was compounded by the particularly sizable convoy of quads and side by side…
