Post your Cat =^..^=

You're part Italian if I remember correctly, should we start an Italian pop culture reference thread and see how you fare?

Half... My mom was born in Sicily... But I am 100% American and have only been to Italy once so I would not fare well at all at Italian pop culture.

However, you and I have been in the United States about the same amount of time from what I hear sooooooo... Check mate?

A - not true
B - all the references I missed were prior to my first visit in the States (1996)...

Bubba's pic to barely keep in touch with the thread...R.I.P. big boy, miss you every day!

P.S. the picture was taken during one of his frequent naps in unusual places, he was alive and kicking then!

Spotlight on Kermit (who we refer to as "Kerm", pronounced "Kurrrrrrrrm".)

Kerm is the tripod we got from a rescue who themselves got him off the street after his accident. Kerm, by the way, is jacked. When we got him, he was this undernourished little mouse of a cat, but now looking at him from the torso up, it's like he's been cycling Tren. He's like a character in that old "How Much Ya Bench?" skit from SNL - tiny rear leg, but his upper body is huge. He likes to sit on his pedestal and to get up on it he just pulls himself up by his front legs only. I imagine if I pointed out that he does still have one good back leg that could help, he'd just smirk at me and say, "Don't need it!" before roid raging on Buddy again. Kerm is a looker too, between his blue eyes and the coat that fades from black around his feet to a light chocolate brown on his spots. This is good because that coat probably also hides his bacne ...

I turned around the other day in my living room and this is what I saw staring at me. I'm pretty sure he was thinking, "I can take him ..."

Kerm really likes sitting on his pedestal. In the bottom picture, I think he's doing his best "Snoopy-as-a-vulture" impression.

We got a bird feeder not because we want to be nice to birds, but because Kerm and Buddy like to browse menus. I'm pretty sure if we let the two of them outside, they'd unbalance the entire ecosystem in a matter of days.

Being a tripod, it can be tough for Kerm to deal with ear itches. Typically, he prefers having his "scratch-bitch" handle it (that would be me.) But he will also use one of the many scratch pads we've mounted throughout the house if the scratch-bitch is unavailable.

In this photo, he's comforting our older cat, Oscar, for being a skinny little nothing. "It's not all hopeless, bro, you just need to get on the right program ..."

"From now on, you sit when you pee ..."

Dreaming of stacking trenbolone and stanozolol ...
