Buddy had his third birthday recently, so we gave him his own cardboard play house.

i got a similar haunted house one (it didn't make it in the move) and a feline diner one and had to reinforce the corners with packing tape...

although, it does look like your cat might be a bit rougher on the cardboard houses than Franklin.

Taping it wouldn't matter because half of the destruction happens because he chews cardboard chunks off and then spits it out on the floor. (Then the next morning we always walk barefoot across saliva-soaked cardboard confetti.) He's like small furry wrecking ball with everything. My wife thinks it's hilarious to get these cardboard houses because I'm the one who always has to build them. And they take forever to build because you have to punch out all the little holes for connections. Then I'll get it all done, put it in the foyer for him, and the next morning he's already started tearing it apart. I don't think one of these damn things have lasted in its completed form for more than a few hours before he starts chewing on it and tearing it apart.
