I use to ride to work when I lived in Ct, was about 20 miles each way, it helped that I got a DWI, but it was winter so I moved three miles closer to my job. But I use to ride about 30 miles a day since I didn't have a car!!!!
But now I travel all over from MD to NH. Tomarrow I'm going to philly then camden! There's no way I could drive...by BTW I teach osha classes and have ahuge bag and two smaller ones!
Trying to find/get made sisy bars like the 80's for my motorcycle to strap the stuff to the back....
But it's a honda VTX 1300c and gets about 30mpg give or take...
BUT I did buy another 87 honda CRX that gets about 40mpg
My SAAB gets 28-32mpg depending on how much hghwy there is!!!
