I used to ride my quad through the streets of Landing and MTB Arlington, good times.I live in the wild west of NJ my neighbors have bon fires and kids ride dirt bikes and atvs all over the place
MTB Arlington lol, is there a difference between MT Arlington and landing I get mail with both towns and idk what town I live in since my sewage/water, trash, and other town bills go to RoxburyI used to ride my quad through the streets of Landing and MTB Arlington, good times.
When you said you felt like you had a hangover made me think it was a bonk. Prolly little dehydrated too. The cold and the constant pedaling prolly contributed. Is that what happened to me yesterday? It was bad enough to search for an electric bike ty so much for the snacks. Also I forgot to say thanks to @qclabrat for the bike yesterday. I owe you both empandas next ride

You grew up here? I was thinking about riding on the lake if I get a fatty and doing an OOS lake ride lol.

Let's do it again! That’s totally what happened. You were underdressed, especially wind protection. Your body was burning glycogen at an accelerated rate before your first pedal stroke. Toss in the fact that you barely drank, the trail does not allow coasting and refusing to “sit in”......BONK!
It’s a roadie right of passage. 🙂

Anytime on the snacks. Did they help?
You made pretty good time back to the lot. I thought maybe we had to ride back for a recovery mission and scrape your remains off from the side of the road. Lol

I call BS, let's see this happen till 20FI wasn't cold better gloves and socks would have made it a lot better. It wasn't windy either. I'm good with no jacket down to 20 then I need a hoodie
I had toe warmers. You should have said something.I know the area since this is where I would drive to get my son to sleep and making it back right after @GreenMachine I had a sigh of relief. I did a lot of walking cuz of cramping and couldn't feel my toes. It sucked
You missed his pt. You wasted a lot of energy because your body is working extra to keep you warm which accelerated the bonk.I wasn't cold better gloves and socks would have made it a lot better. It wasn't windy either. I'm good with no jacket down to 20 then I need a hoodie
v2 looks goodHey @Mtbdog, you raced again on Saturday even with Bob's problem?

Took off the windshell on the way back so it got a lot better as the day wore on
I wasn't cold the whole ride just toes and feet
Which is worse? This or steel bikes and rust discussion? 😀You weren’t cold because you’re body was burning all your fuel. Bonk!
