OOS MOGA

agree, spent 6 hours yesterday on leaves
just bag when you mow the grass when leaves start to fall in October. My first year was 60+bags of leaves this year I've broke it up and what's left now with all the leaves is going to get mulched twice over and left to feed for the winter everything else is getting burned

Koi is just a variety of carp, so yes you can eat it. I actually only raise gold fish, because koi are a much bigger commitment the GF, which eat less, more resilient, cheaper, won't over grow, and much less waste. Many varieties of my shubbies and saras look like koi. Also have fancy goldfish and even a black Moor about the size of my fist. Only down size are the GF only live for 5-10 years vs koi 20-30

Pretty sure that's illegal

I do... maybe you and I can do a ride and fish when Walt is out of town.
Since I am Asian as well... I would think his neighbors wont call the cops.

also, mulching isn't happening in the winter without bacteria.
You just have leave pieces on your lawn till spring.

My wife burns the branches that fall off the trees, our neighbor actually called the cops on her for putting them in our fire pit in the yard. Cop came no leaves and was like well nothing wrong going on here. My neighbors are kinda DICKS!!

Then my next question is... what do you feed them?
I understand goldfish can taste differently based on what they ate.

Depending where you live I know who your neighbors are lol

I'll keep that route in mind... What time do you leave? I'm thinking about leaving around 10pmish. I hear DC traffic sucks and trying to avoid any traffic possible ha.
We leave around 4am, just so we can put a big dent in the distance on the first day. There's no traffic going the alternative route....traffic in DC, Baltimore, Etc can be an absolute nightmare if you end up hitting it....

Nope, get the right filters and pumps. When I have time I'll get you the monthly operating expense for power. But in reality it's probably a lot more work can you can handle with a kid and you being Max. Want to try it out. Get a small feed tank at tractor supply and decent filtation system. Can probably get started with under $500. My original budget was 2k, I've spent at least double already. Ponding is expensive, but I really like hearing water and watching the fish from the deck.

When my wife and I got together I had a 150 gallon tank I gave it when it was to big for our place, I miss having fish 🙁
