OOS MOGA

You can't ride with this?

Scrubbing is key. Get some small towels and scrub scrub scrub with soap in the shower from the top down.

p.s. Post video popping the bubbles.
Doc said no scrubbing at the point. Breaks in skin can lead to infection. Scrubbing only before blisters form. They sell this thing called Zanfel which has pumice to help extract the pi oils. I've used it before and it works, but is about $50. Now is about ten days of Prednisone. I'm going to use Ivy Block all the time now

Are you sure you didn’t get DOT fluid on yourself? I mean hell, that looks more like a chemical burn than a typical PI rash.

Yeah... I get the feeling he was bleeding his brakes, made a mess and contaminated his pads. Tried to burn off the contamination and lit himself on fire.

I took a big tumble at CR at the red big log over. Scraped up the knees and wrists. Think my left wrist landed on PI on the fall and so the oils got under the skin. I'll be the guy in the hamster bubble next time...

6m was a beautiful disaster- 3 otb & arm plague and I have what I believe is post concussion syndrome or at the least a 4 day headache from being hit by a falling tree / large branch that was caused by doing the good deed of letting other riders pass ...
I was hit - thank Christ for the helmet - Walt & I cleared the branch/ tree afterwards.
If I still feel pressure / pain I’m heading to ER tomorrow.
If not Sunday I’ll see how I feel .

Take it easy man concussions are no fun, kick back this weekend and recover for the next one. My wife said I have have a mean rash on my leg that looks like poison ivy but I also have a bulls-eye rash. Going to the doc at my office as soon as I get in if I'm good togo anyone want to do a late ride 7pm ish and race sun set?

i must be bad luck...

Heal-up fellas. Sending some positive thoughts to get better, and avoid future carnage.

We will need some spotters at the sourlands. Maybe bring along some of the good guys, and make it a pro-am,
we can all get some tips.

I think most of these things happened after you left. You should have stayed if anything.

Yeah... not enough skills and technique conversations on these rides. Most look to learn fancy tricks like bunny hops but imo, I think track stand is pretty useful. All the advanced guys I see all practice this.

Jeez Mike, don’t mess around. If you still have any symptoms at all, please get checked. It’s a bruise on the brain!!! You know how it feels to jostle a thigh bruise... this is in the skull. Hitting a pot hole or sneezing for that matter could put you in serious danger.

I agree Mike with Moose, don't wait
Didn't know it hit your head, thought your shoulder into it and it came down. When we were clearing the lower branch hit me in the temple, glad I had a helmet on. Heal up
