OOS MOGA

I wrestled at strawweightbin HS, 108, but in college was close to 150 with still single digit fat. Wrestled for a year at 140 something but college athletics weren't for me. After college hit the gym everyday and got to 170, now I have man boobies. Body slowed down at around 30. Don't let that be you
Too late that already happened too me also when I turned 30, except at my peak I was 248 at 10% body fat. My back went on me and now I can't lift like I used too and kept eating 3-5k cals a day. I have since cut back on diet but not enough so I have to stay active because I love food. If I could lift or get out 4 days a week I would be good but I only currently have time for 2 days a week.

What is it about turning 30 that the body just goes to shit.. @arangov3 let that be a warning to you

Wait until you turn 40...and then 50! Beats the alternative any day though!

I think turning 30 was the most traumatic for me
Turning 40... eh... age is just a number
Will see what 50 is like
Actually, I was able to go up and down with my weight up to about 44, had almost perfect vision...now I need reading glasses and my weight, well, has been going up and up...enter HBP medication and C-PAP. Getting rid of some weight and thus of all that come with it is really my goal, I should really go back to 180 but if I make it below 200 I would be a happy camper.

Have you ridden at zero or lower? No comparison to layers. Last year I used neoprene diver booties inside 400gram thinsulate boots and my feet were still cold. It was about -10F but people get out there at more extreme conditions

yikes, I stay indoors when the mercury drops below ~27 F. You are much tougher than I am. the wind tends to pick up significantly under 27F, and both my booties and gloves become inadequate. unberable slog of a ride at those conditions

Nope
It’s all about muscle mass and big lung capacity
If you want to beat walter
i doubt i can track down @qclabrat if I crash trying to clear an obstacle. he's got pretty good handling. Ditto for rest of you folks.

I've only managed to get out to Wiss twice, but had a ton of fun both times. Hard for me to get out on the weekends with all the family stuff to do. Usually end up just getting an hour or so after work. And I've only been working one or two days a week lately. I give those stay at home moms credit, the more I stay at home to watch our son, the less time I get for myself. I enjoy the time with him, but it's more work than work, lol. I'll probably be working even less when the second one gets here in December.

sounds like you are on the NJ side of the Delaware? I know there's a park with flowy trails ~25 min from Philly; would be happy to drive over. I have extraordinarily flexible schedules, so i can theoretically do any time as long as i don't end up getting stuck in traffic

Yep, I'm in sicklerville. What park on the Jersey side? It's a lot easier for me to make time to visit the closer parks. .
