OOS MOGA

Definitely keep coming it helps to have a group to ride with and we don't mind, we have been waiting for @arangov3 and his mechanicals since the first ride LOL

Brett, I think that for now I will have to skip on rides such as Ringwood (sigh!) and Chimney Rock and stick with you guys on easier rides such as Lewis Morris yesterday. I thought I did better, but I may just be delusional...

You did great definitely keep coming if you want to avoid certain rides and try solo I get it. I would happy to do an easier ride at Ringwood with you as well. That was definitely a challenging ride so honestly, you did really well for the first time out. We also do a few rides a weekend lately because the group has grown and we cover a lot of ground so I am sure you can find a ride that might be easier on those weekends.

Yeah... I know.
We need more cattle prods to push us. Hopefully our fab personalities will provide enuff entertainment for him to stick around.

hmm how entertaining are your personalities? this may be worth it for my recovery spin days. . .

Hey it was fine at the start of the ride, for the 50 miles of mooch I'm going to bring an extra derailleur and hanger

from what i hear you should just ride with an extra bike whenever you go out . . . maybe 2 for a 50 miler.

You were definitely on the saddle more at LM.
But the bumps will suck out the energy right out of you by killing the momentum. I don't want to make your situation a focal pt on the discussions here... unless you want to... but the key is to get out there and have fun and the fact of the matter is, its just more fun when you are on the saddle. I certainly don't think technical aspect of the trails is an issue for you tho. Your skills also come back faster the more you ride.... we just need to match your fitness to your skills.

I couldn't ride more than 8 road miles without a rest when I first started 4 years ago so, you are ahead of the curve IMO

you may have convinced me, go ride someplace cool and we'll talk (or come to my fun fridays ride)
Are you going to be at MTBNJ CR ride this weekend? If so... you get to experience first hand and you know how to spot us.
Look for guys in orange and blue. If they are going too fast... that's prolly team MTBNJ.
If they are slow and hiking a bike and OTBing and limping around... most likely one of us

I'm going to build this at the same rate as it took to excavate debris from Shawshank so my wife doesn't catch on
So you're going to buy the frame?
If you do... you will be my hero under the following criteria
Ride it at Creek as your first ride. If you don't die, I will order mine as well.

How long of travel can this take?

Start passing around the collection cup for me to go to Creek

Head angle is 69.8%
So assuming this is a XC frame, I would imagine it would be recommended for no more than 130?
But then again, I have 140 on my Talon and really had no issues
