I have one?
Yes
Yes let you know tomorrow
What gearing are you on?Nice to meet @MadisonDan and @harishio today at LM. It was easier on the lungs but my legs still not coming around...back to the stationary bike!
What gearing are you on?
I was once told by a wise sage that if your legs are tired, drop a gear. If your lungs are tired, go up gear. My problem is my lungs for obvious reasons.
You just gotta ride more to build up your fitness but to make things bit more fun, perhaps you want to get some easier gears?
Also... a lighter bike would make a ton of difference as well. Places like LewMo, a hardtail works well.
Not sure what components are on your bike but those older FS bikes tend to weigh a ton.

Lastly, pick a person and make him your target. It will be a motivating factor so keep on coming out and ride with us.
I should have clarified... I was thinking in more in terms of hardtail vs FS.... Leo seemed like a n+1 kinda guy and was thinking he might have a HT hiding in the shed somewhere. If by lighter bike you mean lighter rotational mass, then yes... Absolutely. But things like handlebars and seatpost and the frame for that matter save just weight (excluding performance/quality as those are different arguments). If you can get better (which often will be lighter) by all means do so. Cheep/Light/Strong generally doesn't coexist, you can only to pick two for any bike component. The cost per gram is pretty high. There's no difference between a pound off the frame and a pound off the rider on the uphill efforts other than $$$$$$. So, if you're going to spend, spend wisely.

Never mind, I figured it out.I hate to be "that guy" but, how do I do a screen capture on Android?

And... to sell him my Talon! lol jk
I am starting to get the upgrade bug. Was thinking about upgrading the Talon drivetrain to Sram NX. Really like the shift quality I am getting from the GX on the Hightower.
Yeah... But decided against it. Not worth it on the Talon. But will prolly do GX Eagle when I get a 29er HT frame.Nx eagle?

Oh, we should get like an extra 500 posts for this. 🙂What are you looking to get like, if a jeffsy isn't in the cards for me I'm looking at 2 ends of the spectrum for a 29er, only criteria is that it has to take 27+ tires
I'm actually thinking stupid... like a Chinese carbon frame. They're only $300 newWhat are you looking to get like, if a jeffsy isn't in the cards for me I'm looking at 2 ends of the spectrum for a 29er, only criteria is that it has to take 27+ tires

Yeah... But there is pretty real possibility that you will die on the first ride lolHole Lee chit, was thinking the same there's a seller on pink bike for 100 more but if I can find the same frame elsewhere I'm not loyal.
