but not be visible in the thread. if you want it visible (read only - i think)
then go to the file menu, and 'publish to web' with auto updates turned on.

now - you are posting a link with view access, then each person can request edit?

I'd go with a tab for each person, and give them edit permission on their own tab - OR,
each person creates a sheet which you embed in - then they keep their own sheet updated?
