Last night I finally felt a little better out there...cold and a little rain perhaps?

Sounds like the air filter. You can buy the 3 for 10 dollar ones or the ones that are 20 dollars a peice that filter out more stuff, as far as I know they don't limit air flow.

The more expensive ones are probably a waste of money if you don't clean your ducts first.
duct cleaning I've learned is a major waste of money, you can do just about as good as a job opening the vents yourself and vacuuming the immediate area. (don't forget the returns) Key is to get a good filter to screen out most dust and small particles like pollen. The more you trap upfront, less in the ducts and out to the air from force air systems. Usually change the $20 once every three months. But with the warm weather the A/C has been kicking on periodically, I just changed it though only 6 weeks old. It was already pretty dirty.

ive been okay still, i been doing the Zyrtec every other day, the cooler temps really help doe

I do Zyrtec for mild allergies, add Sudafed (not PE!) when the congestion gets worse, and then add Flonase spray for the worst days.

Sad face, or sinuses drooping off your skull face, @Norm ? Ugh.

I don't get typical face-snot-melting from allergies. I get headaches. And when I have stress, I get this weird thing where the muscles in my head actually fight against each other and cause a poking sensation in my head. This happened years ago and the doc told me that your cranium is covered by light muscles. And stress causes the back ones to tighten and sinus issues cause the front ones to tighten. Between allergies and the tragedy this week, I guess they're fighting because overnight my head started to get that sensation again.

Usually it's just light annoying never-ending headaches though.

Whatever was getting me at 6mr last week is everywhere now. Just back from a road ride in the sourlands and my nose was like a faucet
