Had to wait for the rain to stop today, so I got out late, like 1:00.
Did a nice road ride down Clinton road again on the Softride.
I did that ride last week with the tires at 15 & 20 psi. This day
it went much better with 75 psi like they're supposed to be.

The sign says "Natural Habitat". It looks UN natural to me.

That second pic is a very strange optical illusion - it looks like the bike would fit in the palm of your hand

After school my son asked to "go fatbiking" before bball practice. My response was to get homework knocked out, and sure.

I wasn't in the mood to ride and it was raining, but sure enough he finished with time to spare.

We only got a half hour in, but SJ was doing a great "someplace else" impression and my mood quickly changed to stoke.

Tuesday, I expected balmy temps around low to mid 50's. Unfortunately, I went out in the late afternoon after the roads had a chance to dry out and it was windy and cold. A few miles from home, it got windier and it started to rain steadily. Unfortunately, without a rain jacket, I was underdressed even with wool and wind stopper pants.

Unfortunately, Strava stopped recording route and mileage twice during the ride, but apparently kept recording time, so I had a super low avg. speed. Weird that it would record moving time, but not record the actual route. It was cloudy and rainy, but that shouldn't affect GPS.

It was definitely the right day to have the HoH AssSaver mounted!

As I was nearing home a bit before 5pm, the rain slowed to an intermittent drizzle and the sun dropped below the cloud ceiling as it was setting. Looks like the rain started to really thaw out the frozen lake compared to a few days ago when people were still on the lake.

Update and stuff.

Well here we are in week 5! After a good run of cold weather which kept the trails frozen, and in some cases snow covered, we are in a warming trend.

I haven't done anything about the trainer numbers in the data, as only one person has sent me corrections.
I'll probably go through at some point and put people in a composite class - no bigs.

Scoreboard is updated through 6am this morning. Keep riding!!!

I rode last night and this morning, but I didn't take any pictures cause grumpy @rick81721 said I posted too many from the last ride. :gangster:

Grumpy? I find it hilarious that people who've never met me think I'm grumpy. If you ever met me you'd find out I'm pretty much the opposite.

Anywho, merely pointing out proper BIYF ride posting etiquette, as enforced by @stb222 - I get slammed all the time for bike pics and selfies!

I can vouch for @rick81721. He is much less grumpy than the afternoon bar troll wench at Petrock's that has abused both of us twice after we rode Sourlands. It's like double torture.
