No more hair in the pic than there is now. I've kept it real short for a number of years. It hides the balding factor.
I had a similar story to yours after I did the Practice Ride on '03. I had perfect weather, no clouds, little wind, and comfortable temps. I pegged my HR for the entire climb similar to you. My time was 1:21:26.
I have many people that encourage me to do it again to break the so called elite time of 1:20. I say "no way". I had such incredible conditions. The chance of getting that lucky again are very slim.
Congrats to you for being resilient for two years and nailing it when the opportunity came.
