Hey Everyone
Dropping in and saying hi. Was referred to this forum by another member, not sure of his user name but his name is Ed.
I got into mountain biking by first having the pleasure of being selected to be a police officer on the bike unit for the last department I worked for. I took a course and obtained a national cert through international police mountain biking association (IPMBA). Our final day consisted of tearing up the trails at Allaire state park to culminate all of the training we learned, and thats when I really got into it. It was such a fun time and such a thrill I picked it up on my own time.
I purchased my own mountain bike a 2013 Specialized Hardrock 29" with disc brakes. It serves its purpose for now and has been a great reliable bike but sooner or later I'd like to upgrade to a full suspension bike.
I'm out of Somerset NJ so Six Mile Run is right in my back yard, I bike there frequently.
I also would like to pick up road cycling in the near future.
Thanks for having the forum I've learned a wealth of knowledge since I began to browse. I attached some pictures of my bike.
