Yes.
If you bought new, go back to shop and tell them your problem.
If you bought used, bleed your brakes.
Check if your caliper is off center to the brake rotor.
Or take it in for service.

If you bring it back to the shop and explain your concerns I'm sure they will address brake issue.

Did the brakes ever feel good? Or is this something that changed over time? Both front and rear or just one?
If they never felt good then the shop didn't do a good job setting up the bike and I would question their ability.
If it's something that drifted in the 3 weeks you owned then it may be a hardware problem which a bleed may fix in the short term.

It's something that I noticed on my last ride which was last weekend. I know there is a break in period for something brand new

There is not a recall, but only because the way they fail will not cause injury. They may completely lock up your wheels when hot though.

Inquiring minds want to know, what's the brand & model of these squishy brakes?
Unless there is a serial # printed on the lever (not just the caliper), you likely will have new levers in time.
