- self proclaimed king
- the chalk thing he does before the game he stole from garrnett
- "All the people that was rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today."
- televised "the decision" circus .. I don't remember any other greats players doing anything like that.

But perhaps the biggest reason of all is that he doesn't play for the Knicks. I hated MJ too because he always beat up on the Knicks so at least I'm consistent. Why would I like opposing teams' players when they are trying to beat my team? I might think they are good or great players, but there is nothing really that prompts me to want them to do well.
 
Holy shit, im not going to be able to sleep tonight after that... Wow. Congrats Cleveland... Man that city deserves a win like that

That said Jimmy, Lebron James is really better than advertised.

Congrats to Lebron

The "decision" was ridiculously obnoxious for sure but that was like 10 years ago.

Other than that, considering how great he truly is, he is actually miraculously modest.

Imagine being, undoubtedly, the absolute BEST IN THE WORLD at something (and amongst the best EVER)....kinda hard to be absolutely down-to-earth all the time. Expecting that of anyone in his position is unfair and unrealistic. IMHO.

I could never be too tough on him for the "decision" because it gave us the greatest euphemism for masturbation ever.

I didn't watch the whole game last night because the power of god compelled me to watch the battle of the bastards, but I saw the last 10 minutes and that was entertaining as hell. Maybe not as entertaining as the near certainty that the city of Cleveland is going to drunkenly riot itself into oblivion over this, but entertaining just the same. I think Kevin Love's head was about to explode when the buzzer sounded.
 
That was a great series. Lebron was amazing. He's the total package. I was mad when he did that whole "Decision" thing but I've gotten over it. I just wish he was in a Knicks uniform.

on 'killing the knicks' - you know we love reggie miller now. because he did it, it acted like he should do it, did it before, and will do it again.
there was no self proclamation of greatness. that is what i want from our athletes. make the big play, then go talk about how your teammates
created the opportunity.

i had to wait about 5 minutes before lebron used the word 'we' during that postgame interview. in case he didn't notice, his teammate made the 3 that really
put the pressure on at the end of the game.

Not that I disagree, but sometimes I feel in the deep corner of my consciousness that we should cut him some slack. He did get pushed into something that most of us will never comprehend at a very early age.

the only issue you have with Lebron is that he isn't in a Knicks jersey.
