Is this a park and ride lot? Wondering what the permits are for.

I don't know if it a permit would be granted for that purpose. I think its generally for residents in apartments without a driveway, or business owners etc. But I'm not sure.

I live in town but I have a driveway....with a rainbow

The town hasn’t announced anything regarding Nassau yet.

There is a special council meeting tonight focused on another topic, but maybe the trail openings will be discussed as well?

That said, if we get the predicted rain today tomorrow, 02Camaro is probably right....it might be too damp to ride over the weekend anyway.

If we get 2 inches of rain tonight, I wouldn’t ride Nassau regardless. The ground is already pretty saturated from the off and on precipitation.


It’ll take at least a few days of clear weather to dry out.

Please see my post on the Facebook page. We are an open park again as of May 2, but looking at the weather the trails will still be temporarily closed due to poor conditions.

Conditions were perfect today. Parking lot was full but everyone keeping a safe distance. On the trails, minimal contact. Love the new stuff.

Yesterday trails were perfect. Best I have ever seen.
The trail gap jump was a great surprise.

The landing is a bit scetchy.
Love this place.
