Nassau Trail conditions

I blew the Connector Trail today. It was getting sort of sketch with all the rocks covered. I also recovered the Trails Temporarily Closed signs that someone (pretty sure I know who) keeps uncovering.

Rode this afternoon. Did not ride Flatlands - but overall, trails are good with a few greasy corners.

There is a tree down on Bear Country between Matt's Trail and the Bench (I sent a message on FB too).

I rode yesterday too. Flatlands was good other than the few problem spots.

The flow trails were closed yesterday afternoon around 4, which surprised me. I figured they’d be open after 48 hours without rain. I might try to ride them again today if the chains are down.

It snowed about 2 inches in Califon and all melted today. I would assume it’s going to be sloppy throughout Nassau tomorrow.

Due to the freeze, thaw, mud cycle we are going to shut down Nassau and Springside until further notice. JO

Yes we are closed for the season. There are days when the trail conditions are very good and others when they are very bad. Daily updates on trail conditions aren’t being respected, unfortunately. We made the decision to close down until further notice.
