mtbnj KVSP group ride, 12/22

yep, you would have had to run something near a semislick to have been lacking in traction today. on some of the longer, steep stuff i spun, but that wasn't the tires fault.

Pictures:

1. The spindle that served as a pedal today. Note the tiny amount of thread on the end.
2. The hole I punched in my shoe. Plus the former tread on my shoes. The tread plus thread was why I was able to ride today. By the end, I was starting to slip off a bit.
3. A close up of the former tread.
4. The pedal and where it finally sheared off. Thanks to Woody for actually rebuilding the pedal in the parking lot before the ride. It seemed ok but didn't last so long...

rode today... i think i might have followed your fresh tracks at around 10... i ran a maxxis highroller 2.5 front tyre and a kenda (bald) karma 2.0 rear with low pressure and had a lot of fun. wow its nice to ride over logs when its just a hump in the trail. great fun
