I hope you do.Eh I'll ride that chump climb on my 60th birthday.
Just for reference I looked it up:

Jesus H Christ that's legit.
It would be a death march. Would need to basically climb it within a day of being in that area to train to beat the altitude sickness. Is like to climb that!!! Sspeed!!! I'm not there yet... Likely never will be
BTW, this wouldnt be a Fiddlers Elbow type effort as that is above 20% grade. While some steep grades, this is a military built road and has a fairly consistent 7-9% average grade. Obviously not a picnic but a different type of effort.Didn't even think about the altitude. I was huffing and puffing in Mexico city a few years ago

Having said that, if you can't make it up Fiddlers I don't think I'd buy a bike bag & a ticket to Italy just yet.
I only tried it once almost 2 years ago - pretty sure I can do it now. I made a loop starting at spruce run that hits iron bridge - gotta ride that one soon.
That's 10 minutes from my house. Riding in that area will definitely build you some nice quads. It's also like interval training without even trying....climb, recover, climb recover, climb....
Nice. Will take a vacation day soon to ride it. The loop also hit's Rick Road - gotta ride that one too 🙂
Hmmmm, on the radar. Always had a conflict with the date, but not this year (so far anyways)Or do it on Sunday 9/20. This ride has it all. https://www.bikereg.com/28054
