You can still do that though. But it needs to be an old school boom box with a tape deck. Extra points for a double tape deck. (That way you can make me a mix tape for the ride home. )

I will say last year the cafeteria was virtually empty and they were literally ready to feed an army. Food was really cheap and the breakfast egg sandwiches they made I am still craving. I'm bringing some filet's just to say I actually camped out. Dont doubt the rain issue sat night. Irene IS coming in, Cat 1 or possibly 2 hitting us on Sunday. Dear God. Someone bring the disco ball.......
 
What he said. Anyway last weekend was the traditional 24HOA weekend and we got that monsoon out of the way so now we can look forward to sunshine, rainbows, unicorns, and all that kind of shit.
 
So, tomorrow will be my first trip to Allamuchy. Where do we park for the race? I'm trying to look up directions to plug in the GPS.

yes i could, but rt 9 south is normally a high traffic, slow going mess. now with the areas main n/s artery closed, barrier island evacuation, and general hysteria along the shore due to our 24/7 media whipping up the masses, it woud probally be quicker and less of a headache to pedal the ss.
