Fogerson or Shagz , I'm guessing one of you guys can answer this .
We've been doing a lot of exploring at Mahlon lately. We decided to give the Power Lines a try today instead of just cruising down the rail bed back to the lot .
We came to what was almost an impossible "feature" to get around . That would be the HUGE Beaver damn . Trail runs right up to it and then it's probably at least 5ft deep of water to your right then mud and debris to your left making up the damn .Easily 20ft across .We very and I repeat very gingerly used our bikes to balance us and stepped cautiously across the damn to the other side . The other side then yields some killer tight single track back to the road.
Is there any other way around this damn ?
If not, I vote for a bridge ...... I guess it's a whole other can of worms because it's the WMA and there are probably very strict rules that must be followed etc regarding the use of the land .
