My computer got blown up with a virus as soon as I went there. A real nice one that mimics a virus scanner and flags random files on the computer as "child porn trojan" or something like that

Firefox for life :getsome:

I went to the link in the invite, that's all. Though I do have a bad habit of clicking in the margins of a website to make the browser the active window. It's possible I could have clicked an ad or something that was on the sidelines. I found what I need to do, guess this will be my project for the evening.

Thanks for the invite anyway :D

In fairness I should mention that I went to a few MP3 download sites prior to visiting demonoid. But that was probably 20 minutes prior, and the malware showed up within 15 seconds of viewing demonoid. Whatever, stupid hackers.

I've never had any problem with Demonoid. I've been using it for many years. I usually run firefox under windows/linux and Safari under Mac.
