Luke, you totally outdid yourself on these pics. I thought it was not possible to catch the bone better than last year but you nailed it.......damn!
 
Pat, so how the heck does the trap not snap your hand like it did the bone? This was the first time I actually got to see you in action and it was an awesome show!!!

Mare, I think live bone is a little more forgiving than dead bone, so luckily I'm still alive 🙂

I'm serious that I think all the heavy (grip and otherwise) training I've done over the years has thickened my bones substantially. I think anyone else would be looking at broken fingers. I've done this feat in a lot of places, at a farm trade show in Indiana a trapper came out of the crowd and told me he's seen the same traps shatter the legs of coyotes and wolves before. He thought I was a little nuts.

The jump after my highest is where I got hurt. The inside of my leg is like chop meat and I have a bruise the size of a softball so far. I don't bruise, ever, at all and this is pretty bad black and blue.

Luke, stellar shots.

As for the bunny hop contest... that again was my fault due to the fact that the kids skinny contest went on longer than expected and it ran into the raffle. Karen did a great job managing that bungle and combined them into 1 at 4pm. Anyway, something had to give and we totally forgot and ran out of time for the bunny hop contest. I did see a lot of people doing it and I want to thank you for bringing it. It was a cool addition to the center field!
