Its Been Fun

I'm officially in Connecticut full time on Friday the 17th. I've taken a promotion that I couldn't refuse. I'll be moving to the Huntington section of Shelton.

I've really enjoyed my time working on and for the trails at Six Mile Run. I hope that I've been able to inspire some of you to get involved and find a new appreciation for what goes into building and maintaining trails, or just riding and having fun. I know I've learned so much from some of you over the years, I hope I've done the same for others too. I've met and ridden with so many great people, both road and MTB. You'll all be missed.

I'll still be around occasionally, since I still have family here, but it will be a bit infrequent. I'll certainly be bringing the bike when I'm in town.

If there is anyone out there who would consider stepping up to the plate to help J. Fenton keep the JORBA chapter going, let me know. Someone who is familiar to our methods and vibe would be a preferred candidate.

My new local spot will be Trumbull. I hear its good.

JP.

trumbull is your local ride? you'll love it! good stuff there!

Good deal J! We will miss you here, but once you get the lay of the land up @ Trumbull,....INVASION! There were some great times on the trail, (TM and riding wise). I am very sure you will be a great addition to the group you will ride with, and do TM with. Let us know when you are going to be back. (I will use any excuse to ride).

Happy trails J. We sent the Halter's unicorn up to CT to blaze this for you.

sad to see you go but I'm really happy for you and yours... you know you were the first person I met in person from MTBNJ and the ONLY guy I know that would lend someone his shoes... (went to Jorbafest and forgot my shoes at home and Jason says to me "here, borrow mine - just drop em at Halters when you're done")... my dude!

mabye we can get a contingent for a road trip to Trumbull next spring/summer... by then I'm sure you'll be familiar... be safe bro...
