ISO Boost 29er wheelset - Cheap

Don't piss off the red guy
I'm looking for a set of wheels for my Mountain Creek runs so I don't want anything fancy or lightweight. I just need it to be strong, straight, and with a decent rear hub which can be either HG or XD. I'll even take microspline if I have to since I have to get a 12-speed cassette for it anyway. I understand that in the 12-speed world a SRAM cassette works with Shimano derailleur and chain and vice versa so I can take either configuration. Tubeless ready rim is a plus.

You need something strong for creek. I built some spank 359s. Worth putting the money in if your at creek frequently, I blew out two rims last season because i wasn’t smart about it.

I guess I don't ride as hard as you do because I've never blown the set I had on my previous bike in 4 seasons.

I might have a dtswiss wheelset available, 350 hubs laced to xm481 rims , just depends on what your definition of cheap is 🤣

Check pinkbike. Bunch of take-offs for relatively cheap. I got a pair of practically new Roval wheels for $250. Not the strongest but I threw on DD casing tires and Cushcores for added insurance.

Yeah, I'll check them out. Thanks.

+1
The Roval Traverse Fatties are great wheels and pretty light. I bought take-offs in both 27.5" and 29" for my Hightower. Both cheap (<$200).

Wouldn't rims for a fat bike be too wide for 2.4 width tires I want to use?
