I assume you are talking about Cherry Ridge Rd because you said it's in really bad shape, but @icebiker was asking about P7 which is a small gravel lot right on Clinton Rd. P7 is definitely a legal place to park, regardless of whether that sign is there or not. It's mainly used by hikers heading up to Terrace Pond, and it was a total shit show during covid, which is presumably why/when they put that sign up. Just don't park on the road if the lot is full, and as Pete mentioned previously, don't park there after 7pm or whatever time the other sign says.

Would really like if they would drag the rake on Cherry Ridge up to Ferber circle again. They’ve done it every few years and it needs it badly right now.

I parked there today. I found the sign too. It’s been tossed into run-off ditch at the south end of the gravel lot. The ditch is about 6 feet down so you can’t see it from the road.
